PRECISION has used Clikma since 2025 for the commercial and technical training of its teams in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia. As of October 17, 2026, it has more than 750 current employees on the platform, which recorded more than 13,000 in-person and live training attendances in more than 750 sessions. In the last 12 months, more than 400 people used it in Chile and more than 300 in Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.
More than 36,000 modules were completed on the platform and more than 3,900 certificates were issued, and PRECISION also recorded more than 19,000 external training records to keep each person's track record in one place.
Learning challenges in industrial automation
The most common training challenges for engineers and technicians who integrate, install and maintain control and electrical systems, with the rule that makes them mandatory and how Clikma addresses them. PRECISION operates in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia: the rules cited are Chile's, and in the other countries each country's own rules apply. "How Clikma addresses it" describes the platform, not what each client uses.
Technology that changes with every version
Controllers, drives, industrial networks and software are updated every year, so what people learn quickly goes out of date and each project requires mastering the version the client uses.
How Clikma addresses itSpecialty paths with reusable modules that are updated once and reach every path. SCORM, xAPI or H5P content and third-party catalogs live in the same player, and webinars on Zoom, Teams or Meet record who attended.
A valid electrical license for every technician
Anyone who designs or carries out electrical installations needs the license for that installation, and in electrical rooms and switchboards safe work depends on procedures each technician knows and applies.
Regulation (Chile): Decree 92 of 1983, Electrical Installers Regulation: a SEC license by class, from A to D, depending on the installation; licenses obtained through occupational skills certification are renewed every five years.
How Clikma addresses itEach technician's licenses and certifications are recorded with issuer, dates and validity, with an alert before expiry. Safe work procedures are delivered with a read receipt, and practice is assessed on the job with a checklist.
Qualification to enter client sites
Field services take place at clients' mining and industrial sites, which require induction, risk information and up-to-date safety records before letting a technician in.
Regulation (Chile): Law 16,744, article 66 bis, and Decree 76 of 2006: the contractor reports its compliance to the principal company. In mining, Decree 99 of 2014 standardizes the basic induction. Decree (DS) 44 of 2023, article 15: inform about risks before work begins.
How Clikma addresses itInductions and documents to sign come together in a project onboarding. Certificates have validity periods and expiry alerts, and per-person reports are ready to send to the principal company.
Cybersecurity in control systems
Connecting and automating plants opens the door to cybersecurity incidents, and the law requires operators of vital importance to have ongoing training programs for their workers and collaborators.
Regulation (Chile): Law 21,663, Cybersecurity Framework, article 8: operators of vital importance must have ongoing training and education programs for their workers and collaborators, with cyber hygiene campaigns.
How Clikma addresses itA cyber hygiene course with an assessment and a record per person, and campaigns through internal communications with read reports. External collaborators train on the same platform.
Field technicians spread across four countries
Technical staff work on projects and field services in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, far from the offices and on site shifts, and every person still has to receive the same safety and product training, with evidence that they completed it.
Regulation (Chile): In Chile, the prevention course of Decree (DS) 44 of 2023, article 16, with its Technical Guide (Exempt Resolution 1,117 of 2026), which from November 1, 2026 also requires recording attendance at online activities, and the Karin Law (Law 21,643): protocol, information every six months and training. In Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, each country's own rules apply.
How Clikma addresses itCommon paths by role for the four countries, assigned by country and site when the payroll is loaded. E-learning resumes where the person left off, so they can progress between field visits, and attendance —in person with a QR code or online—, the assessment and the certificate are recorded for each person. The Karin Law protocol is delivered with a read receipt.
What are the main training challenges in industrial automation and electrical solutions?
Keeping teams current on technologies that change with each version; keeping each technician's electrical license valid; qualifying staff to enter client sites; training on cybersecurity for control systems; and giving the same training, with evidence, to field technicians spread across four countries.
